Welcome, I’m Sarah, the maker behind Elemental Pottery.

I love exploring different techniques, colours and styles, so my collections are always varied. Each piece is made individually, with care and attention, and although no two pieces are ever quite the same, my work naturally falls into four areas that are close to my heart.

Functional Ceramics
Mugs, bowls and everyday pieces made to be used, enjoyed and loved. There’s something special about holding a beautifully handmade mug filled with tea, or enjoying a comforting bowl of food from something that has been carefully crafted by hand. I want my functional pieces to bring a little warmth and pleasure to everyday moments.

Wellbeing Ceramics
I create pieces to accompany mindful and spiritual practices, including Cacao ceremonies and Palo Santo rituals. Wellbeing is an important part of my own life, and I love creating ceramics that can become part of these quiet, meaningful moments of connection and ritual.

Miniature Ceramics
My miniature pieces began with a simple challenge — to use every last piece of clay. What started with tiny leftover fragments soon became delicate miniature vases and decorative pieces, and they have grown into one of my favourite collections. Working on such a small scale can be surprisingly challenging, but I love the charm and character that comes from creating something so tiny by hand.

Ceramics for Four-Legged Friends
Our pets are part of the family too, so I couldn’t leave them out. Inspired by my own two small dogs, I create handcrafted ceramic pet bowls with the same care and attention that goes into every piece made in my studio.

Made with care for our planet

Sustainability is an important part of how I work. I make a conscious effort to use every last piece of clay, recycle water within the studio, and reuse packaging wherever possible or choose recyclable materials for my orders.

Most importantly, I believe in making ceramics to be used, treasured and enjoyed for years to come. Handmade doesn’t need to be perfect — it’s the little variations, marks and details that make each piece unique.

At Elemental Pottery, I hope to create more than just beautiful objects. I want my ceramics to bring a sense of comfort, connection and joy to everyday life — those simple moments that help make a house feel like home.
